On the afternoon of June 23, a reception was held in Zagreb on the occasion of the feast of the patron saint of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes of Malta (National Day of the Order), which was attended by numerous representatives of the diplomatic corps, business, social, cultural, academic worlds and the Croatian Church.
In his speech, Ambassador Pietro Mortini recalled the goals of the Order of Malta and its humanitarian commitment in the world and in Croatia. He illustrated the projects and goals of the MALTEŠKA SLUŽBA (https://malteska-sluzba.hr), the activities of the Order of Malta in Croatia, which are managed by numerous volunteers, dedicated to helping, supporting and protecting the human dignity of the poor and sick.
The reception ended with a convivial moment that was appreciated by all present.
